– Allyson Kasetta, Esquire

Allyson Kasetta, Esquire, has been in practice as a Land Use and Development Attorney since 2009, with a focus on the New Jersey Land Use Permitting Approval process. Selected as a 2018 and 2019 “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers and as a “Top Attorney” by new Jersey Monthly Magazine in 2019, Ms. Kasetta is recognized as a top-rated Land Use & Zoning attorney.

At Prime & Tuvel, Allyson’s rich experience throughout the State of New Jersey enables her to provide a unique perspective on the interactions between developers and approving authorities, as well as a familiarity with the practices and procedures of many different municipalities. Her experience with multiple planning boards and zoning boards across the State is a true asset to clients.

Allyson specializes in land use, development, redevelopment and permitting matters for residential, commercial, and industrial developers of all sizes. From redevelopment designation to final negotiation of a redeveloper’s agreement and site plan approval, she expertly manages every step of the redevelopment process for her clients. Her deep, specialized knowledge of redevelopment law enables her to help clients navigate development projects through a complex maze of approvals.

In addition, Allyson has been instrumental in assisting private clients in the emerging Cannabis, CBD and Hemp industry.

  • She led the charge for the successful adoption of ordinances for medical dispensaries in one Bergen County municipality; one of the first to prospectively permit recreational sales pending the new legislation.
  • Successfully closed municipal land use approvals and permits for cannabis agriculture in the state,
  • And received a Certificate of Appropriateness from the Montclair Historic Preservation Commission (Essex County) for the rebranding of an existing downtown dispensary.

Allyson received her two degrees, a B.S. in Administration of Justice and her J.D. Law Degree, from Rutgers University.

When not at work, Allyson is an avid concert-goer. For a more relaxing break, Allyson enjoys unplugging in the Catskills with family and friends.
